Additional Training Information/FEMA Courses

When you are deployed to help with a training or incident, you must have a more in depth understanding of how a response works, especially when it comes to the Incident Command System. Some of the training listed is required for specific Kitsap CERT Membership Levels and some are just good to have in case you need it.

All of the courses listed here are free to take and are online so you can take them as you have time. Once you complete a course, if you are trying to obtain a higher Membership Level or if you simply want the training added to your record, please send an electronic copy of your certificate to the CERT Program Manager.

Before you can take any FEMA online course, you must apply for a FEMA Student ID number. You can do that by going to: https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid
